Eating Healthy in 2012

   I know, I know, this is my blog for all creative crafts and things I have made and whatnot...


   But hey it is my Blog anyway and I can write/post whatever I please right. Right! So without further ado, my newest lifestyle change is (I actually started this weeks ago but didn't want to announce it here until I knew that I could keep up with the change.) Dietary Veganism. Ta Da! I have my own reasons for this change, but also want to point out that I do take two days off a week from this strict change of diet.

Dietary vegans eat an entirely plant-based diet—either for health reasons or out of concern for animal welfare—but may continue to use animal products for other purposes.

   How fast I felt some benefits, the burst of energy after a meal instead of the usual lag and laziness, is a major plus. Head on over to Google or YouTube for inspiring videos and meal inspiration. There are also plenty of Facebook pages which share recipes daily such as FatFreeVegan.com and Vegalicious.


Todays Light Lunch:
Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette Lettuce Wedge
   I prepared more food along with this wedge, but I was so full after eating it I put the rest away.
